Deputy Attorney General, Yeni Berenice Reynoso, was chosen the woman of the year 2020. Both are natives from Puerto Plata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paliza is the former senator for Puerto Plata. He is now the administrative minister of the Presidency. He is also the president of the ruling Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yeni Berenice Reynoso is a former Santiago prosecutor, former National District prosecutor and now is Deputy Attorney General.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National senior volleyball team member, Lisvel Eve Mej\u00eda (La China) was also recognized during the Puerto Plata event. She competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Outstanding Puerto Plata Awards is in its 23rd year.
