In addition to the current requirement that travelers show proof of a negative Covid-19 test (antigen or PCR) taken within 72 hours of departure to the US, the American government will soon be requiring proof of the traveler being fully vaccinated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The good news for Dominicans is that the CDC will be accepting proof of vaccination with the Chinese-manufactured Sinovac vaccination, in addition to US brands. Around 70% of those who have been fully vaccinated for Covid-19 in the Dominican Republic have received the Chinese-manufactured Sinovac vaccine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The United States announced that starting November 2021, any foreigner traveling to the US will need proof of vaccination. It announced that any Covid-19 vaccine approved for emergency use by the World Health Organization is accepted. This includes the US-manufactured Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson &amp; Johnson that are used in the United States.
