Congress paid around RD$30,000 per day per legislator to meet in a different scenario and study the around 400 articles in the amended Penal Code. News reports are that the outing cost taxpayers RD$2.5 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deputies on the committee are: Alexis Jim\u00e9nez (vice president), Dar\u00edo Zapata, El\u00edas Wessin, Eugenio Cede\u00f1o, Fior Daliza Peguero, Jes\u00fas Manuel S\u00e1nchez, Jos\u00e9 Horacio Rodr\u00edguez, Luis S\u00e1nchez, Mateo Evangelista, Omar Fern\u00e1ndez, Pedro Botello, Plutarco P\u00e9rez, Rafael Alburquerque, Ram\u00f3n Mart\u00ednez, Sadoky Duarte, Santiago Vilorio, V\u00edctor Fadul and V\u00edctor Suarez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
