Diario Libre reports that of the 24 senators and deputies that participated, 11 were from the ruling PRM party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diario Libre reports that the legislators left as is the abortion clauses that only allow for an exception when the life of the mother is in danger and a physician approves this. The legislators also agreed to increase from 10 to 20 years the expiring of government corruption crimes. A Supreme Court judge has ruled that corruption crimes do not expire.
