The government had previously authorized two doses of Pfizer vaccine for children 12 to 17 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vaccination stations have already been set up in hundreds of schools nationwide to ensure that teachers and students, employees and parents get the vaccine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next step is for the Health Cabinet presided by Vice President Raquel Pe\u00f1a to accept the recommendation. The motion will be presented on Tuesday, 5 October to the Health Cabinet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The medics also favor the use of the Sinovac\/Coronavac vaccine for the younger children.
