The President announced the start of construction of a dock for fisher boats in S\u00e1nchez and a plaza for the fishermen and restaurants in coordination with the Samana municipality. RD$500 million is being made available for improvements in the Samana City boardwalk, and the paving of the road from Samana to the Las Galeras beach town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister of Tourism David Collado said the government is investing RD$176 million pesos in Las Galeras in the Vendors Plaza with 25 stands, including 16 restaurants and two arts and crafts stations.
