This past week, Dominican Republic\u2019s Miss Universe Kimberly Jimenez, the godmother of the ship, and the president of Carnival Cruise Line, Christine Duffy were present to welcome the Mardi Gras tourists to port.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ship had been baptized on 23 October in Port Canaveral, Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mardi Gras is the first Carnival cruise ship that operates on natural gas. The ship is a floating water park. A deck top Bolt rollercoaster is open for the entertainment of guests.
