It is a place where beach hopping should be on the agenda of visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indeed, many tourists take a boat trip to Las Galeras from Las Terrenas, on the western side of the peninsula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The road to get there was not a problem. But now the Abinader administration announces it will improve the road. The Ministry of Public Works has contracted Malespin for the repaving of the 29 kms of the road between Samana city and Las Galeras.
