The Abinader Presidency announced a high-level 9-member political advisory committee will review recommendations for Dominican actions regarding the economic, social and security crisis in Haiti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Paliza, announced the follow-up and consultation table on the crisis affecting Haiti, at the end of a meeting with more than 30 political organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paliza said the committee members are four majority and four minority political parties together with a government official. “Today we are all gathered again in this Presidential Palace, in a sign of commitment of all the political organizations, of all the interests of the country, united regardless of the differences that traditionally distance us and having very clear the need to safeguard the national sovereignty, as well as the national interests,\u201d said the minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paliza said the committee would meet on Friday, 12 November 2021, to discuss proposals. He reiterated the call to the international community to pay due attention to the neighboring country and to become aware that Haiti requires all their support for the solution of its crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paliza was accompanied by the Legal Advisor of the Executive Power, Antoliano Peralta and the Vice Minister of Government and Society, Andr\u00e9s Lugo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Sigfrido Pared P\u00e9rez, Julio Cesar Valent\u00edn and Iv\u00e1n Lorenzo; from the People’s Force, Manolo Pichardo and Inocencio Garc\u00eda; from the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD), Peggy Cabral and H\u00e9ctor Guzm\u00e1n; while for the Social Christian Reformist Party (PRSC), Federico Ant\u00fan Batlle and the political delegate to the Central Electoral Board (JCE), T\u00e1cito Perdomo Robles, as well as representatives of other political organizations were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
