The 32 Haitian men and 12 Haitian women had no identity documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Edward Rafael Santana Sosa, a resident of Martin Garcia in Santiago Rodriguez province was arrested.<br>Santana Sosa was caught transporting the Haitian nationals in a red Daihatsu truck, license plate number L130668.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People smuggling is a millionaire business in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, TV investigative journalist Alicia Ortega aired a report where a former migration inspector Jesus Manuel Rodr\u00edguez tells of irregularities he was ordered to investigate and denounced and almost lost his life for telling.
