Its director, B\u00e9lgica M\u00e9ndez, told Diario Libre that of the total 61 were foreigners and 51 Dominicans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She told Diario Libre that most of those giving birth were young women, ages 19 to 22, but there were also some minors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said that the high birth rate at the La Altagracia hospital is due to the fact that there is a high rate of foreigners that do not use planning methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Diario Libre article does not give the detail of the nationality of the foreign births.
