Santiago is a leader in attracting foreign customers and patients for quality medical services at a lower cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Metropolitan Hospital of Santiago (HOMS), a major private medical center in Santiago, recently received a RD$45 million loan from the Banco de Reservas, the government commercial bank, to improve its Health &amp; Wellness Center that caters to foreigners. A hotel, conference hall, hundreds of doctors\u2019 offices, and a small shopping center will be added to the Health &amp; Wellness Center facilities.
