The donation was received through the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO-WHO). The assistance has a value of US$400,000. The storage capacity is made up of two cold storage chambers and 20 refrigerators that will be sent to 20 vaccination centers to provide access to the vaccines in Haiti-Dominican Republic border vaccination centers. This will facilitate the distribution of the Pfizer vaccines that require ultra-cold storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the delivery, the representative of the PAHO in the Dominican Republic, Olivier Ronveaux highlighted the importance of the donation to the country&#8217;s collective health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Canadian general consul Collin Holditch represented the Canadian government during the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Eladio Perez, deputy minister of Public Health, received the donation for the Ministry of Public Health.
