The issue: The COD has not complied with the required rendition of accounts of the use of National Budget funds in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As reported in Diario Libre, the Ministry of Economy has notified the Ministry of Sports of the issue. The Ministry of Economy indicated that given the lack of reporting, the Dominican Olympics in 2022 would only receive RD$17 million of the allotted RD$42 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Economy has a department that reviews the use of the government funds.
