Santo Domingo is drawing star Latin performers that have included a stop in the Dominican capital city as they go on their global tours as cities open up with the decline of Covid-19 cases. Visit the city and it is likely there will be a top-notch performer entertaining crowds at one of the many venues in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raphael de Espa\u00f1a: 26-27 April 2022 at the National Theater<\/strong>
Raphael de Espa\u00f1a celebrates his 60th year as a performer with a concert at the National Theater. The legendary Spanish ballad singer is on the global tour marking his 60 years on stage.

The dates are Tuesday, 26 April and Wednesday, 27 April at 8:30pm. Tickets are for sale online at Uepa Tickets, at the box office of the National Theater that is located at Av. M\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez and at ticket booths at CCN stores (Supermercados Nacional, Jumbo and Cuesta del Hogar).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joan Manuel Serrat is on his goodbye tour<\/strong>
One of the most legendary Spanish ballad composer-singers of all times, Joan Manuel Serrat has included Santo Domingo in his career goodbye concert, \u201cEl Vicio de Cantar\u201d. The concert will be Wednesday, 4 and Thursday, 5 May 2022 at the National Theater at 8:30pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emmanuel booked for 7 May at the National Theater<\/strong>
Today 65-years old, Mexican ballet singer Emmanuel will be singing \u201cChica de Humo,\u201d \u201cTodo se derrumb\u00f3,\u201d \u201cAl final,\u201d \u201cInsoportablemente bella\u201d and \u201cEl d\u00eda que puedas\u201d in Santo Domingo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His performance is booked at the National Theater on Saturday, 7 May 2022 at 8:30pm. His concert \u201cToda la vida Emmanuel,\u201d brings back most of his best hits during his 45-year career. He recently won a Latin Grammy. He has also received the Billboard Latin Music Lifetime Achievement Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alejandro Sanz at the Quisqueya Ball Park on 7 May<\/strong>
The Quisqueya Ball Park opens on Saturday, 7 May 2022 for the Alejandro Sanz performance. The 53-year old Spanish singer has won 22 Latin Grammy Awards and four Grammy Awards. He has received the Latin Grammy for Album of the Year three times. He is best known for his flamenco-influenced ballads, but he has also sings pop, rock, funk, R&B and jazz. He won the Billboard Latin Award in 2006 for his co-production \u201cLa Tortura\u201d with Shakira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colombian Carlos Vives presents \u201cDespues de Todo Vives\u201d on Saturday, 14 May 2022 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Santo Domingo. The 60-year old Colombian singer, songwriter and actor. He is best known for his singing in the Colombian genre, \u201cvallenato\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
