This is more than males with university-educated that headed only 20.5% of households. There was practically no difference between male and female heads of families at lower educational levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>20% of households are single-person units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding access to drinking water, 53.6% receive it inside their homes, 41.7% of these get it between two or three times a week and 28.1% less than 5 hours a day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over 40% of homes in the DR have at least one child of less than 15 years of age and nearly 25% of homes have at least one person of 65 or over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the key areas studied by the survey was that of disabled or impaired persons.
