The water levels of Hatillo, Rincon and Moncion dams have risen over the past few days. And although Tavera-Bao, Valdesia, Jig\u00fcey, Sabana Yegua and Sabaneta dams all showed slight decreases in their water levels, authorities at the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources (Indrhi) are confident that steady water supplies are available for human consumption and farming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These recent rains as well as those associated with tropical disturbances go hand in glove with the efforts of the government to reforest the high and mid-level watersheds of the nation\u2019s major rivers, all of which feed into the reservoirs.
