This would be the first airline to offer a direct connection to Tampa from Dominican airports. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The carrier is already authorized to fly passengers, cargo and mail on 29 routes from the United States to the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline has plans to start the new routes on 30 June 2022 using an Airbus A320 with capacity for 186 passengers. The flight would start with a frequency of two flights per week on Thursdays and Sundays for the Tampa (TPA)\/Santo Domingo (SDQ) route. The Tampa (TPA)\/Punta Cana (PUJ) route would also start on the same 30 June with a frequency of one flight per week, on Saturdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline expects to transport approximately 10,230 passengers on  the Tampa\/Santo Domingo route  from June to December 2022.
