{"id":180094,"date":"2022-06-07T07:56:33","date_gmt":"2022-06-07T11:56:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dr1.com\/news\/?p=180094"},"modified":"2022-06-07T08:17:09","modified_gmt":"2022-06-07T12:17:09","slug":"jarabacoa-flower-festival-16-19-june-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dr1.com\/news\/2022\/06\/07\/jarabacoa-flower-festival-16-19-june-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Jarabacoa Flower Festival: 16-19 June 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img src=\"https:\/\/dr1.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Festival-Flores-Jarabacoa-XI-El-Dia-1024x455.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-180121\" width=\"600\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jarabacoa Flower Festival 2022 is back to celebrate the flowers of the mountain vacation town and its multiple attractions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event, now in its 11th year, will take place from 16 to 19 June 2022, and seeks to position Jarabacoa as a tourism destination, while raising awareness about the importance of caring for the environment and promoting the culture of the mountain town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thousands of flowers and colorful plants go on display and are for sale during the event that takes place in the city of Jarabacoa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eunice Marmolejos, the creator and founder of the event, says this 2022 the fair is dedicated to water, so essential to all forms of living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marmolejos pointed out  the festival has become a Jarabacoa city brand and a national event for its contributions to the sustainability and development of tourism in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event includes photo exhibitions, adventure trails, children\u2019s workshops, trade shows, lectures, art exhibitions, flower and plant exhibitions and sale, artistic shows, a parade of floats and awards ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Damilka Mena Cuevas is the Queen of Flowers for this year\u2019s event.
