Pittsburgh Pirates owner Bob Nutting and President Leonel Fernandez will shovel the first ceremonial parcel of dirt at the Pittsburg Pirates’ new baseball complex in El Toro, in Guerra, located to the east of the Dominican capital later today. The complex will be home to the Pirates’ Latin America operations and will also be used to house players for the team’s Summer League.
