The bill has been dilly-dallying in Congress since 2011. It has the backing of President Luis Abinader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Monday, 25 July 2022 session, the senators approved to take 24 hours to study the amendments made in the Chamber of Deputies.
