There is not a single person in the pictures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chilean photographers Erika Santelices and Orlando Barria took to photograph the Colonial City at the start of the pandemic when the solitude of the streets added a very different feeling. The exhibition at the Alliance Francais in Santo Domingo is part of the Festival Internacional Bienal Photoimagen 2022 and is open through 8 October 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Orlando Barria is an EFE news photographer who had a special permit to circulate during the quarantine days. He captured the streets and monuments of the historic city center when without the usual police, cars or people in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibit is open at the Alianza Francesa at Calle Horacio Vicioso 103, in the Centro de los Heroes.
