The Dominican Republic is ranked 8th in the world, Turkey is ranked 6th.<br>The DR will next play host Poland in Gdansk, Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>24 teams are participating in the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB)World Championship from 23 September to 15 October 2022. The teams are divided in four pools of six teams each.
