The remittances total for the eleven months of 2022 is now over US$8.91 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The year\u2019s remittance total is now 27% more than for the 11 months of the pre-pandemic 2019, reports the Central Bank. The total is below the total for 2021, a record year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Central Bank says that the flow of remittances is stable around US$800 million a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>84% of the remittances are sent by Dominicans living in the United States. This is followed by 6.5% by those living in Spain.
