The Haitians were arrested after trying to enter their country with illegal weapons. The detained foreigners were taken to the police station in Dajab\u00f3n province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Specialized Corps of Land Border Security (Cesfront) in Dajab\u00f3n carried out the arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cesfront identified the arrested as Dieuson Prospere, Jodeline Darlestin, Yenes Prospere and Cadet Kesnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cesfront explained that agents assigned to duty at the Batalla Sabana Larga Border Operations Base detained the Haitians, who were searched and a Glock, a Cherokee and a Carandai pistol were found inside the vehicle and as part of their luggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The security officers held 12,500 Dominican pesos and 11,250 Haitian gourdes, and 11 cell phones of different makes and models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The detained foreigners were taken to the police station of Dajab\u00f3n province to be brought to justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read more in Spanish:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.diariolibre.com\/actualidad\/justicia\/2022\/12\/19\/cuatro-haitianos-apresados-con-armas-ilegales\/2173876\">Diario Libre <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>20 December 2022<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Border security (Cesfront) reported the arrest of four Haitians in the border province of Dajab\u00f3n.
