In three of the five really big corruption cases currently in Dominican courts, the main suspects have been sent home under house arrest after serving 18 months of preventive custody. These include the former president\u2019s brother, Alexis Medina and the former presidential security head, Major General Adan Caceres. The cases are the Antipulpo (Anti-octopus), the Coral case, and Operation 13. The sums involved are really mind-boggling and way up in the billions of pesos.
