We are excited to continue our positive impact in attracting tourists from destinations that did not have direct connections before,&#8221; says Pacheco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arajet has opened 17 destinations since flying its first commercial flight on 15 September 2022. \u201cWe expect to double our fleet of Boeing 737MAX8 aircraft in 2023 as we continue to implement our growth plan and provide Dominican travelers with new flight options, lower fares, and better service,\u201d said Pacheco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, Arajet launched several alliances and products to democratize aviation. These include an alliance with PagaTodo that enables residents of the Dominican Republic to buy air tickets and pay in cash at any of the 1,500 Paga Todo couriers throughout the country. The airline also recently introduced Arabonito, a corporate bonus that allows companies to reward the performance of their employees with the purchase of plane tickets or services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arajet is based at Las Americas Airport in Santo Domingo.
