As a result of these deaths, the owners of the businesses were arrested and will be arraigned on several charges. They face fines and jail time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A broad sweep of the barrio known as La Javiela in the 27 February district was carried out by ProConsumidor and two corner-stores called \u201ccolmados\u201d were found to be selling adulterated alcohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aside from the two fatalities, another two persons currently are in serious condition at the San Vincente de Paul public hospital in San Francisco de Macoris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides locating the stores that sold the fatal drinks, the Pro Consumidor agents pinpointed other locations where adulterated alcohol was for sale.
