According to some reports the traffic chaos over the weekend was colossal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diario Libre has reported the bridge will be opened to vehicular traffic on Monday, 20 March 2023 at 5:30am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The alternate routes in case the bridge continues closed are: The Juan Bosch bridge with one express lane open in the west to east direction. Those going from the National District towards East Santo Domingo can use the Josefa Brea Avenue to cross the Mella Bridge that will be a one-way (west to east) road. Mexico Avenue can also be used to access this floating bridge.
