The cargo of 2,271 packages was in transit to Rotterdam in the Netherlands. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cocaine shipment hidden in a freight container of bananas. The load has a street value of EUR31 million or around RD$8 billion in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office has initiated an exhaustive investigation. Any arrests have not been made public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The recent cocaine haul is the second largest seized shipment of cocaine.
