For the winter season of 2023-2024, the airline says it will increase its flights by 50%, offering some 6,000 seats per week to flyers between France and the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air Caraibes is filling the void left after Air France reduced its flights to Santo Domingo and Punta Cana to the winter season, possibly due to Air France\u2019s financial difficulties, and now has removed them, reported Aviation Source News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of 20 October 2023, Air Caraibes will offer a daily flight from Paris-Orly to the Dominican Republic. As of 14 December 2023, the airline will offer nine weekly flights to the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The frequencies will be:<br>Punta Cana-Paris-Orly 4 \u2013 One daily non-stop flight<br>Santo Domingo-Paris Orly 4 \u2013 Two weekly flights via Port-au-Prince (Haiti) and one via San Salvador (Bahamas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air Caraibes promotes itself as a scheduled French airline specializing in the Caribbean and French Guiana offers transatlantic flights between Paris Orly 4 and Guadeloupe (Pointe-\u00e0-Pitre), Martinique (Fort-de-France), French Guiana (Cayenne), Haiti (Port-au-Prince), Saint-Martin via Pointe-\u00e0-Pitre and Fort-de-France (Princess Juliana), the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana), the Bahamas (San Salvador and Nassau) and soon Mexico (Canc\u00fan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline website also indicates Air Caraibes is a regular Caribbean airline company specializing in the Caribbean and French Guiana, with more than half of its staff from the West Indies and French Guiana, and head office based in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe. <span style=\"color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, &quot;Segoe UI&quot;, Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company will use Airus 350-900 for their daily flights that start in October of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read more:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/listindiario.com\/economia\/sector-turistico\/20230520\/linea-aerea-francesa-ofrecera-nueve-vuelos-semanales-paris-republica-dominicana_754392.html\">Listin Diario <\/a><br><a href=\"https:\/\/eldia.com.do\/air-caraibes-aumenta-mas-del-50-vuelos-desde-paris-a-republica-dominicana\/\">El Dia <\/a><br><a href=\"https:\/\/aviationsourcenews.com\/airline\/air-france-removes-dominican-services\/\">Aviation Sources News <\/a><br><a href=\"https:\/\/en.aircaraibes.com\/en\/our-airline\/about-air-caraibes\">Air Caraibes <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>23 May 2023<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Air Caraibes, the French airline based in Guadeloupe, has announced a significant increase in its flights to Punta Cana and Santo Domingo.
