If the bill is passed in the Senate, the Dominican Republic will become the second country in Latin America to have a law of this kind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill&#8217;s articles seek to regulate the attention, protection and effective inclusion in society of persons with autism spectrum disorder, through the protection and guarantee of their rights and the satisfaction of their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill highlights that persons with ASD will have the right to receive early, specialized, accessible and non-judgmental diagnosis and evaluation, services with coverage within the government\u2019s National Health Insurance (SeNaSa).
