Brayelin Martinez leads with 83 points, including 71 attack points, 10 block points and two serve points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A feature on the VNL world championship highlights Brayelin and her sister Jineiry as a family powerhouse in the leading world championship played in Nagoya, Japan from 30 May 30 to 4 June. The tournament continues in Hong Kong from 13-18 June and Suwon, Korea from 27 June to 2 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The VNL reports:<br>\u201cOn the volleyball court, Brayelin has proven she is a powerhouse scorer, while Jineiry is a force at the net. Brayelin has a U20 world title and multiple individual awards, while she jointly shares a silver medal and a bronze medal with Jineiry at the U23 World Championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After back-to-back runners-up finishes at the Brazilian Superliga, the Martinez sisters finally closed the 2022\/2023 club season with a title for Dentil Praia Clube.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volleyball World reports that sisters Brayelin and Jineiry Martinez have height, power and athleticism running through their veins, providing potent offense and dominant defense for the Dominican Republic. The volleyball website explains that the sisters\u2019 mother Agripina was a team official for the youth and junior national squads and their brother Bryan is a dual-sport athlete who was signed with Major League Baseball\u2019s Pittsburgh Pirates and is now with Dominican Republic basketball club Ca\u00f1eros del Este.
