The airline is also expanding service from Charlotte&#8217;s Douglas International Airport (CLT) to Punta Cana&#8217;s PUJ international airport to four flights daily. These flights start 5 December 2023, in time for the Christmas travel season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>American says it will reinforce Miami&#8217;s (MIA) status as the largest gateway between the US and Latin America and the Caribbean with more departures this winter.
