She is accused of impersonating as a neuroscientist without academic or government accreditations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lawyers Pablo Miguel Jos\u00e9 Viloria and Mario Radham\u00e9s Mat\u00edas Parris presented the charges against Elizabeth Silverio Sillen, representing the Ministry of Public Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judge Fatima Veloz says the measure is taken because of possible danger of flight and the seriousness of the accusations. The prosecution and lawyer Felix Portes, representing several parents of children registered at the Kogland Center had requested house arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Silverio Sillien and her husband David B\u00e1ez Zorrilla were partners in a therapy center for children with autism. Her husband has not been accused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later it was known she was taken to a hospital after suffering from an acute urinary infection. Her lawyers Rafael Elena and C\u00e1ndido Sim\u00f3n said that their client had presented &#8220;serious health complications&#8221; after spending days at the Palacio de Ciudad Nueva temporary jail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the medical doctor whose exequatur was used by self-made &#8220;neuroscientist&#8221; Elizabeth Silverio has presented a legal complaint against her imposter. Investigative journalist Nuria Piera presented evidence of the irregular use of the exequatur of 34-year old pediatrician Karen Elizabeth Silverio Peralta.
