In the 109 kg men\u2019s category, her teammates Ander Paniagua in the lunge and Ezequiel German in the snatch lifted their weights to win bronze. The Dominican weightlifting team ended with three golds, three silver and 10 bronze medals. The performance, nevertheless, fell short of the team\u2019s performance in the previous Barranquilla 2018, when the team had won 20 medals (6 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The duo of Julibeth Payano and Bethania Alm\u00e1nzar won the silver medal in women\u2019s beach volleyball after losing two sets to one to the Puerto Rican duo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gymnasts Yamilet Pe\u00f1a and Audrys Nin Reyes won medals in the apparatus finals.
