This week, El Nacional reported that the women were now entering in Haitian ambulances to give birth in Dominican public hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Migration Agency spokesperson, Nelson Guti\u00e9rrez, said the checkpoint would be installed immediately, but staff would respect the human rights of these women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Migration took the decision, after El Nacional published that ambulances with pregnant women arrive from Haiti to the public hospital of Restauraci\u00f3n, via the International Road, despite of the existence of three military checkpoints in the zone. The medical personnel at the public hospital in that municipality and its residents made the complaint to the newspaper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;They, these women enter through Restauraci\u00f3n, and this point is not under the supervision of Migration.
