Hardt defeated Cid in a three-set one-hour and 27 minutes game (6-2, 3-6, 10-7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was the third consecutive final in which two Dominicans have played each other. Previously, Victor Estrella defeated Jose &#8220;Bebo&#8221; Hernandez in the Central American Games held in Veracruz, Mexico 2014.  In Barranquilla (Colombia) 2018, Estrella did the same again vs Roberto Cid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier in the day Hardt, got his pass to the final by beating the Mexican Alan Rubio 2-0 (6-1, 6-2) in 1:37 hours. Cid had made the finals by beating Blaise Bicknell, from Jamaica, by 6-2, 6-1 in 1 hour and 18 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In mixed doubles, Peter Bertran and Kelly Williford produced the country&#8217;s 12th gold medal. Bertran and Williford won the gold defeating the Costa Rican couple &#8212; Cristian Rodriguez and Maria Perez.
