The Dominican Republic will play Panama on Wednesday, 2 August 2023 in the 7th WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup in Taipei, Taiwan (28 July to 6 August 2023). As of Day 5, Chinese Taipei and Venezuela have qualified for the Super Round. Other teams must await Wednesday\u2019s games’ outcome to decide the other four spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taiwan, the hosts of the tournament, beat Venezuela and as of Tuesday, 1 August is the only undefeated team. Venezuela and Taiwan advanced to the second round. Mexico and Japan will play for the third spot out of Group A. As for Group B, the US beat Korea and created a three-way tie at the top of Group B, including the Dominican Republic. Panama still has a chance to play in the Super Round if it defeats the DR on Wednesday, 2 August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
