The National Ballet of Cuba is world renown for its excellence. The troupe will present Pyotr Tchaikovsky\u2019s Swan Lake, one of the most famous ballets ever written.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Swan Lake ballet was revived in the late 19th century by Marius Petipa, the famous French-Russian ballet master of the St. Petersburg Ballet. The great love story will now be told by the 60 members of Cuba\u2019s well-known ballet corps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The version to be presented in Santo Domingo in September was created by the immortal ballerina and ballet master Alicia Alonso, and the ballet. It consists of three acts and an epilogue.
