Over RD$165 million will be spent on creating this new free zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports by officials from the Ministry of Industry (MICM), these 12 new companies call for an investment of over RD$615 million in opening call centers, manufacturing and tobacco processing companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, there are nearly 200,000 persons employed in the nation\u2019s system of manufacturing and services export free zones.
