Culture Minister Milagros German announced the winners during a press conference at the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) auditorium. The works are on exhibit at the MAM in Plaza de la Cultura. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Grand Jury of the Biennial, made up of the Award and Selection juries, awarded the Grand Prize to the drawing \u201cPortrait of Pandemics (Pol\u00edptico \u2013 15)\u201d by Julio Valdez. Valdez receives a cash prize of RD$1 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prizes were also awarded for the paintings \u201cUrban Garden II\u201d by Susan M\u00e9zquita and \u201cEl Rancho de Tula\u201d by Yuly Monci\u00f3n.
