The declaration will facilitate developing conditions for promoting tourist activities, ensuring the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources and for the economic and social development of the southern province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deputies approved the project that was initially submitted and passed in the Senate by senator Lenin Valdez of the ruling Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monte Plata is known for its popular Salto Alto de Bayaguana, a natural oasis composed of three waterfalls with crystal clear waters.
