The Ministry of Sports is allotting RD$200,000 for silver medalists and RD$150,000 for bronze medalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the case of team sports, the award for winning gold is RD$250,000 per athlete. The government will be paying awards of RD$175,000 for silver medalists and RD$150,000 for bronze. This is the first time individual members of teams receive such high cash prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sports federations winning medals will get RD$700,000 for distribution among the coaches and  support staff.
