The demographic bonus is described as the condition&nbsp;in which the productive age population is more than the non-productive population. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hernandez told Diario Libre that this is &#8220;the moment of opportunity to generate wealth, where the working-age population exceeds the dependent population.\u201d The demographic bonus happens when the child population (under 15) has decreased and the elderly population (over 65) has not yet aged as much.
