The ceremony honored the best athletes in the recently ended Santiago de Chile Pan American Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paulino was one of the superstar athletes such as Maggie Mac Neil, Osmar Olvera, Rebeca Andrade, and Javier Sotomayor who took the top honors at the 2023 Panam Sports Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second edition of the Panam Sports Awards celebrated the achievements of athletes, coaches and Olympic Committees across the Americas at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic was honored for her athletics performance in Santiago 2023 when she won two golds, one silver and one bronze (200m, Mixed 4x400m, Women\u2019s 4x400m, Women\u2019s 4x100m). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Panam Sports Award press release stated: \u201cNow an Olympic, World and Pan American Games Champion, Marileidy is also inspiring thousands off the track. She created a foundation called \u201cCreando Sonrisa Eterna\u201d to provide support and resources to impoverished children in her country.
