This is part of a larger system that includes an urban rail system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mass transit system is designed to reduce traffic and ease movement in the nation\u2019s second-largest city. It will service much of the area to the south of the urban area and will connect with a rapid rail system. The cable car system is expected to go into service in the first quarter of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting in La Yaguita del Pastor, the cable car system will serve Bella Vista, La Barranquita, Los Jazmines, Villa Ol\u00edmpica, El Ensue\u00f1o and Pekin.
