The Gigantes del Cibao of San Francisco de Macoris and the Estrellas Orientales of San Pedro de Macoris have ensured their places in the round-robin, the second stage of the Dominican Professional Winter Baseball League Championship. The regular season ends on 22 December 2023, with teams playing 150 games. The top four of six teams playing in the championship move on to the round-robin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last games will define which of the two most popular teams, the Tigres del Licey or the Aguilas Cibae\u00f1as, will be the fourth team to continue in the 2023-24 championship. The Toros del Este have already been eliminated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of the games played on 19 December, the team stats are: Gigantes del Cibao 28 won\/ 17 losses; Estrellas Orientales 26\/20; Leones del Escogido 23\/23; Tigres del Licey 22\/23; Aguilas Cibae\u00f1as 20\/27; and Toros del Este 18\/27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Santiago: Aguilas vs. Estrellas
La Romana: Toros vs. Tigres<\/p>\n\n\n\n

21 December
San Francisco de Macoris: Gigantes vs. Aguilas

San Pedro de Macoris: Estrellas vs. Toros<\/p>\n\n\n\n

22 December
San Francisco de Macoris: Gigantes vs. Aguilas
Santo Domingo: Leones vs. Tigres
La Romana: Toros vs. Estrellas<\/p>\n\n\n\n
