The concession would have expired in 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The concession covers the international airports Las Americas (SDQ \u2013 Santo Domingo), Gregorio Luperon (POP \u2013 Puerto Plata), La Isabela (JBQ &#8211; northern Santo Domingo), Maria Montez (BRX \u2013 Barahona), and the domestic airport of El Catey (AZS &#8211; Samana).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Abinader administration had included an advance payment of US$775 million in the revenues contemplated for 2024 in the National Budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the same session on Wednesday, 20 December, the Senate approved the National Budget for the year 2024 with its appendices, amounting to RD$1.61 trillion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both the concession and the National Budget had passed in the Chamber of Deputies.
