A Superior Electoral Court (TSE) decision ordered a vote recount. The higher court annulled a last-minute alliance that gave the victory to Trajano Vidal Potentini, who represented the faction of opposition parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Yohan Lopez, the candidate for the government party, declared himself the president of the Dominican lawyer association.
